The Northern Branch of the Jowett Car Club of New Zealand is a friendly group whose interests are centred around Jowett vehicles. We invite interested persons to join. You don't have to have a Jowett, we can soon find one for you! You'll find it relatively inexpensive for such an interesting classic vehicle. The club has a full supply of New and 2nd Hand Parts, and members are very helpful with restoration assistance and advice.

Enquiries about Northern Branch and Activities:
If you are interested in getting to meet the members, or learn about or see Jowetts come along to the weekly 'Shed Night', or would like to join us on a club run or event Please use the email link below
Throughout the year we also have several 'non official' events and get togethers, ranging from helping members get 'wrecks' home, to impromptu club displays at vintage steam shows and other classic car club shows.

  9.30am – 3.00pm
This is the major Auckland display for Classic Cars of our era. It also doubles up as our Club Pride of Ownership event, for The Christie Cup.
The Jowett Car Club traditionally has strong numbers at this display. Will your Jowett be there?

Will we get a new record 30 cars? Two Javelins are in the process of being brought back from the dead and another three under going paint jobs. Will they be ready? The Club car will be there for the first time. If you have more than one Jowett how about a friend or another member assisting with the other car?

Bring a picnic lunch and your Jowett and enjoy a relaxed day and see many other cars of a similar era to ours.
Cars in place by 9.15am please.
Let’s welcome out of town members. If you need a place to stay for this weekend, contact Alan at or 09 5233798.

flying displays and aerobatics. The event is registered with the CAA

on the airfield itself if your are in a Jowett
Parking for non-classic cars will be across the road in a field set
aside for parking and a charge of $2.
Classic cars will be directed through another entrance directly onto
the airfield to places set aside for them.
I would very much appreciate it if you would be intested in bringing
some cars along.
